Tryout Process


Register for tryouts on the website.

Day of Tryouts:

  1. Players should arrive 10 minutes before the tryout time to check in at the tent.
  2. Players will be issued a reversible scrimmage vest with a number and told which color to wear.
  3. Players will then go to the try-on tent to try on a uniform. (Info sheets will be provided)
  4. Players will then go out to the field to meet the coaches.
  5. Tryouts will last about 1.5 hours.

Player Select Process

  1. Coaches will meet after the final day of tryouts to discuss their preferred selections. They will have 24 hours to make roster decisions.
  2. Coaches will make contact with their prospective players in person, by phone, or by email.
  3. The club will be notified of the player selections. Prospective players will receive an official invitation via email. They have 24 hours from the time the email is sent to accept their offer. Failure to accept in the timeframe will result in their spot being given to the next prospective player.

Tryout Player Evaluation

Players will be evaluated on the following criteria:

    • Dribbling/Ball Control
    • Defending/1v1 Tackling
    • Passing/Weight & Accuracy
    • Receiving/First Touch
    • Striking/Power
    • Striking/Accuracy & Finishing
    • Fitness
    • Fitness/Strength & Endurance
    • Tactical Awareness
    • Attitude/Behavior

Accepting the offer

The official invitation email will include a link to accept the offer.

This will allow you to register your player for the Select Season.
During the registration process

  1. You will be required to upload a photo of your player.
  2. You will be required to upload a birth certificate or passport. (This is a US Club requirement; Mukilteo FC cannot change it.)
  3. You will get to choose to pay in full or make monthly payments. If you choose the payment option, an initial payment must be made.


If you choose the payment option, you will be charged equal monthly payments on the 15th of every month after the initial payment is made.

Financial Aid
Mukilteo FC believes that playing soccer at a higher level should not be a financial burden. Financial aid is limited. The information provided helps us efficiently complete the process. Financial assistance is for discounted registration fees. Mukilteo FC is currently unable to provide full scholarships.
